Perfecte, únic i irrepetible.

Us estimem molt!

From 26th of July to 2nd of August 2017 we've had the luck and the pleasure to play for Esbart Sant Martí de Barcelona during the Pikkeling international festival. This year has been the 48th edition of the festival and apart from us, dancers and musicians from Ukraine and Uzbekistan have also been part of it. We write this article after living the most intense and special week we've ever lived since now, both as a musical formation and individual. It's so big this feeling that Marc Vilegas, one of our trumpet players, wrote this:

Right now I'm crying like a child. I don't remember how many performances we've made, how many notes we've played or how far we went together. I only think in this trip that for me (and I suppose that for majority of us) will last for years. It should be more or less common to do this trips for the dancers from Esbart Sant Martí, but for us, it was the first time. This trip has been like the first love. Pertect, unique and unrepeatable. Maybe it may sound like utopy but it is true. Just thinking about the families, the organization and the friends we've made, my throat chokes up. The best thing that can happen to a musician is to hear the dancing people screaming like animals, enjoy every step as if it was the last one, take every instant as unique. I don't have enough words to express my feelings and I can only say: THANK YOU to every one of you, to every beer we've drunk together and to every moment close to you. We've shouted OUT! all together for the last time, but I don't think that saying goodbye to you is neither fair nor necessary. To everyone of you I say, with all the love and my last words: see you the next time, Cobla, Esbart, David, Maestro Figaró and many many people I've not named.

A big kiss and many thanks for all of that. We love you a lot!

We hope we can repeat this experice, it has not left us indifferent!
